SENSSEtt presented its three training programmes during a side event, co-hosted with the French Permanent Mission to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the European Commission. This event provided a platform for sharing and discussing crucial developments in nuclear education and capacity building.
As the global nuclear landscape evolves, implementing international requirements for nuclear safety management and nuclear safeguards presents increasing challenges. These domains require specific managerial and technical skills. Capacity building in these areas is challenging for many Member States, as new build programmes emerge and new generations of managers need to be trained.
Thus, in collaboration with the IAEA, SENSSEtt will share and disseminate advanced knowledge through reference materials, educational resources, and a network of alumni, experts, and academics.
